Bamboo Connect
An 11,700-person community turned into something people actually meet through.
Try it live- 11,700 members
- 800+ users in 2.5 months
- iOS and Android
A social app with no users is dead on arrival. This one launched on top of a community that already existed, so growth was never the problem. Landing an introduction at a moment when both people are genuinely free was.
An offline-first social network built on an existing community. Profiles get reviewed by a human, availability matches in real time, introductions happen on skills instead of an open feed, and meetups are hosted instead of left to chance. Bilingual, live on iOS and Android, and past 800 users within two and a half months of launch.
What I built
- Real-time availability matching, so an introduction lands when both people are actually free.
- Human review on every profile, which is the only reason the introductions get trusted.
- Skills-based introductions instead of a feed nobody reads.
- Bilingual Hebrew and English, shipped to both app stores.
